Clogher Valley lost their third league game of the season, all at the Cran, on Saturday - a statistic that doesn’t happen that often. The visitors are unbeaten, U L Bohs are a big strong hard running team from Limerick.

Early doors it was the Valley who held the upper hand and in less than five minutes after several carries from a solid scrum David Stinson crossed for the opening try duly goaled by David Maxwell.

As the half progressed Bohs gained the upper hand dominating the territory and the bulk of the possession.
The Valley scrum was solid but the line out was malfunctioning allowing the visitors more possession than they would normally expect.

Bohs hit back on the 10-minute mark after turning over possession in the Valley half they swept forward and a pin point cross field kick by their out-half found their left winger in space who caught and scored. The out-half then added the extras.
