Ferguson claims eleventh NI championship

BY WINNING the 2025 McMillan Specialist Cars NI Autotest Championship Steven Ferguson has reset his own record and now has eleven Northern Ireland titles to his credit.

This year’s Championship was scheduled to take place over eight rounds but the cancellation of the UAC round in the middle of the season meant the 2025 title was contested over just seven rounds, with the best five scores to count.

Steven’s task was made more difficult with an uncharacteristic, failed test at the third round in Larne resulting in a very unfamiliar fifth place. Championship hopes were further complicated when family commitments meant Steven had to miss the June round hosted by Coleraine Motor Club.
