Dungannon Ladies' Hockey Club hold 50th Anniversary Gala Ball

Dungannon Ladies Hockey recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

A large and stylish gathering of former players, current players, parents and friends of the club arrived in buoyant mood to our beautiful venue Glenavon Hotel Cookstown.

After a drinks reception, kindly sponsored by Ideal Furnishings and Hillview Service Station Moy, chairperson Nicola Cardwell welcomed all with particular mention to founder members Joan Reid and Barbara Graham.

A brief history recalled various successes over the years (the Senior Cup and Hobson Hall trophy on display) and faithful contributors over the years in coaching and umpiring roles remembered and recognised.

Some more light-hearted stories were told which show the real heartbeat of the club is its people.
