Knipe brothers on fire

Round two of the Irish Minibike Championship took place at Athboy, where local competitors, once again, produced some excellent results.

The Knipe brothers, Boyd and Sonny, created their little piece of history when they both finished on the podium. Elder brother Boyd, was victorious in the Road Racing Ireland Junior Gearbox class, taking pole position, three hard-fought wins and the fastest lap in each race, whilst younger brother Sonny, now in his second season of racing, took a creditable third in the first Dualways BamBam race of the day.
