All change at the top at Aughnacloy

February traditionally is when Aughnacloy Golf Club hold the ladies and gents annual general meetings.

The gents kicked off first on Thursday 15th February followed by the ladies on Wednesday 28th February.

The current Club Captain Peter Johnston welcomed all present to the meeting and thanked them for coming.

Following a minute’s silence for bereavements he proceeded to hand over the chair to his Vice Captain Noel O’Sullivan presenting him with his Captain’s jacket.

Captain Noel then announced his Vice Captain Graeme Parr and presented him with his vice Captain`s jacket.

The outgoing Captain made a farewell speech thanking everyone for their support during the past year and wished the incoming Captain Noel an enjoyable and successful time as Captain.

New Captain Noel made an introductory speech stating that it was a privilege to be asked to be Captain of Aughnacloy Golf Club.
