A bitterly disappointed Brian Dooher felt his Tyrone side should have got something out of a tense encounter with Galway at O’Neills Healy Park.
After seeing the Red Hands edged out by a single point at the end of a contest of fine margins, Dooher reflected on what could be a costly slip-up for a team that has lost its last two games.
“It's disappointing, we've a game we should have got something out of but it is what it is,” said joint manager Dooher.
“We felt we could've and should've but unfortunately we didn't and that's what happened. Galway got back and got a foothold on the game they never really relinquished.
“We have the result and there's nothing we can do about it, we just have to move on and get ready for next Saturday.”
