With three minutes to play, Belfast Royal Academy crossed the whitewash to bring the score within one point. It looked like Royal School Dungannon might lose this one as BRA had all gun’s blazing.

RSD started the game strong winning possession and pushing up the pitch, the home team got penalised which give Joel Clarke to the opportunity to kick into the corner. Armandas Kaminkas gathered the ball in the lineout and the forwards drove forward.
Charlie Stinson found a gap in the BRA defence and scored the opening try with 10 minutes on the clock.

RSD gathered the restart and got back up the pitch, again BRA got penalised in front of the posts and Clarke pointed at the posts, which he converted putting the score at 8-0 to the Dungannon side.

However, it was the Belfast side to put the pressure on. The boys built their phases to allow the fullback to go in at the corner through missed tackles by the ‘Gannon boys. The conversion was missed leaving the score 8-5 at half time.
