Dungannon Amateur Swimming Club host its first-ever official gala

It was a day to celebrate for Dungannon Amateur Swimming Club (DASC) as the local team proudly hosted its first-ever official Swim Ulster Gala, marking a milestone in the club’s history and in the local sporting community.

The event brought together swimmers from across the region, with clubs travelling from East Cavan, Cookstown, Monaghan, Banbridge, Enniskillen, Letterkenny, Portadown, Armagh, and of course, Dungannon itself. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and camaraderie as competitors of all ages took to the pool to showcase their talent, determination, and team spirit.

The gala proved to be both fun and fiercely competitive, with swimmers achieving personal bests and supporters cheering enthusiastically from the stands. Organisers hailed the day as a resounding success, noting the high standard of competition and the positive energy shared among all participants.
