Dungannon Pool League reaches halfway stage

IT is advantage to Tiffy’s ‘A’ in Division One of the JPS Construction Dungannon Pool League as the season reached the halfway stage last Wednesday night.

The top tier will cease league activity until the New Year as all combatants switch their attention to the Divisional Knock Out Cup and, the seasonal festive competitions over the coming weeks with the Ballygawley men enjoying a comfortable four-point advantage over nearest challengers Boyle’s ‘A’.

Tiffy’s are the only unbeaten team in this grade having won all seven outings thus far, but they will be the first to acknowledge that there is a long way to go before entertaining thoughts of league silverware. Donaghy’s ‘A’ proved just that when pushing the table toppers all the way last week, while Boyle’s ‘A’ maintained the gallop having accounted for fellow title hopefuls Golf Club ‘A’.
