It's time the public is “called out” for its attitude to littering throughout the district.

THE Chief Executive of Mid-Ulster District Council has warned it is time the public is “called out” for its attitude to littering throughout the district.
Speaking at a meeting of Council’s development committee, Adrian McCreesh told members Council will be taking a “zero tolerance” approach to littering.
“We are in a pandemic but we are also experiencing a litter pandemic and the behaviour of some of the public needs to be called out for what it is,” said Council’s Chief Executive.
