Northern Ireland has a long history of producing legends in Autotesting. Rally Stars Paddy Hopkirk and Colin McRae developed their skills competing in this branch of the sport, and the country has among it’s roll of honour, Robert and Ian Woodside, Ken and Charlie Irwin, Harold Hagan, John Lyons, Robert Dickson and Sam Bowden.
Stewartstown’s Steven Ferguson is already regarded as one of the Handbrake Kings, but his impressive list of wins, Championships, records and achievements continues to grow.
Ferguson, already a nine times NI Champion, six times ROI Hewison Champion, two times British Champion and a British Trial and Rally Drivers Champion, converted his NSF Joinery Mini Special from the usual Mini engine to Vauxhall power, the combination allowing Steven to use all his talent to further rewrite the record books.
