Knockmany runner Jonny saves life of fellow competitor in Rome Marathon

The motto 'Knockmany Running Club never leave anyone behind' rang true last week when member Jonny Hadley saved the life of a fellow marathon runner in Rome.

Jonny had been - in his words - 'shuffling' around the 26.2-mile route in the Italian capital when he came across a man who had seemingly collapsed to the ground in exhaustion.

However, upon closer inspection, Jonny - an advanced nurse practioner - realised the situation was much more serious.
