Man arrested in connection with Dungannon house fire

A man in his late teens has been arrested following a fire at a house in Dungannon.

He was arrested on suspicion of arson and with intent to endanger life.

The fire broke out at a bungalow in Crannog Way in Dungannon. No one was inside the property at the time and there were no reported injuries.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service received shortly after 9pm on Friday and responded by deploying three appliances and two fire officers. The blaze was subsequently extinguished.

Police say they are treating the fire as a deliberate at this time.
