A landmark building in Cookstown could soon be given a dramatic new purpose, with fresh plans submitted to Mid-Ulster District Council detailing a full-scale transformation of the former Clubland nightclub into a multi-storey family entertainment complex.
The proposal, lodged last week by applicant Melissa O’Neill alongside APS Architects LLP, outlines a “part change of use” for the “existing nightclub/venue”, setting out more than 32,000 sq ft of redesigned space aimed at modern leisure seekers.
