A DELEGATION of Dungannon traders have been assured of Mid-Ulster District Council’s full support, as they seek to deliver a four-point plan which they feel has the potential to regenerate Dungannon town centre.

A primary aim is to finally kick-start a major regeneration scheme in Ann Street, where there are ambitious plans to turn a four-acre site into a mixed-use development anchored by a supermarket, a café, car parking and public realm works.

The delegation, which included well-known traders Stephen Mohan, Danielle Santos, and Gemma Martin, alongside other shopkeepers, urged Development committee members to work with them and make a strong case to the relevant Departments on their behalf.
