A local theatre has paid tribute to one if its founding members after their passing.

Frances Jordan, of Castlecaulfield Road, Mullygruen, Donaghmore, passed away on Wednesday 1st October.

She was the beloved wife of John, mother of David and Aisling (Quinn). Sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Sharon, son-in-law

Gerard, grandchildren Sinéad, Síofra, Daithí, Féidhlim, Sadhbh and Ultan and sisters Rosaleen and Angela. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Rose and siblings Anthony, Malachi, Attracta, Geraldine, George and Hal.

In a social media post, Bardic Theatre said:

“Bardic Theatre is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Frances Jordan – a towering presence in our history, a founding member and, quite simply, an icon.
