A DUNGANNON actor has spoke of his pride after appearing in the newest season of Netflix's most watched series.

Wednesday is a series following Addams Family character Wednesday Addams, with Jenna Ortega playing the title role.

The series follows Wednesday Addams' years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree, and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents.

With more than 252 million viewers, the first season of the show is Netflix's most-watched series, originally airing back in 2022.

The long-awaited second season, released last month, also drew millions of viewers to the streaming platform.
In the new season 24-year-old James Stockdale, from Dungannon, plays the part of Roland, a student at the Nevermore Academy.

James told the Tyrone Courier it was “an incredible experience” filming the part.

James appears in two episodes of the hit show, which is directed by Tim Burton.

“I'm in a small scene in episode one, but it's just a short clip of me sitting in a chair. But then in episode six I have bigger role.” James explained. “It was pretty surreal.”
