The pollution crisis at Lough Neagh has been described as “heart-wrenching” during a public meeting held at the Kinturk Cultural Centre on the shores of the lough.

The meeting, which drew around 100 people, featured speakers including local campaigners and elected representatives, and comes amid growing alarm over the ecological state of the UK’s largest freshwater lake.
