Forest Service urged to remove fallen trees 8 months on from Storm Eowyn

Mid-Ulster councillors have approved targeted deforestation in parts of the district for environmental purposes, and they have also called on the Forest Service to clear fallen trees in a number of forested areas, eight months on from Storm Éowyn.

Speaking at a Planning meeting held recently, Councillor Mark Robinson (DUP, Clogher Valley) stated: “Is there any way we can speak to the Forest [Service] in relation to the amount of trees that are still lying since Storm Éowyn?”
