New consultation on Cookstown bypass scheme

THE bid to build a £50million bypass for Cookstown after a 50-year wait continues to gather pace with a public information event planned for the town next week to update locals on the latest developments.

The Department for Infrastructure has published for consultation the draft Statutory Orders for the proposed A29 Cookstown Bypass scheme.
