£400million funding promise for the A5 from Irish government

MAJOR new funding has been promised for the notorious A5.

The Irish government is poised to restore its funding promise of £400million for the A5.

The dual carriageway project is to improve the main route between Londonderry and Dublin.

A high level Irish government source confirmed to the BBC yesterday, Monday, that the full amount will be restored after the cabinet meets today, Tuesday.
