Two of the three men accused of intending to stir up hatred by alleged participation in a song which mocked the murder of Michaela McAreavey are to plead not guilty, a court has been told.

The video, showing people singing a song, was filmed in an east Belfast Orange Hall in May 2022.

The three men, who are accused of behaviour intended or likely to stir up hatred, are all from County Londonderry.

They are: Steven Kane, 25, from Coolshinney Heights in Magherafelt, Cian Jones, 23, from Craigadick Road in Maghera, and Dillion Kelly, 22, from Edmund Court in Tobermore.
