‘Terrifying’ Dungannon rape described in court

A teenager has been remanded in custody accused of being one of two males who took a random woman into an underground carpark, each raping her while the other kept watch.

Details of the terrifying allegations were disclosed as the teenager, who having turned 18 since the incident, can now be identified as Alcino Soares of Braeside, Dungannon, who was charged with rape, sexual assault and twice aiding and abetting an unknown male to rape.
