Glowing tributes have been paid to former Tyrone football manager Art McRory, one of the most influential figures in GAA in the county of the past 50 years.

Mr McRory (82), who passed away suddenly at his home in Dungannon, leaves a rich legacy of success as a key contributor to Tyrone’s growth as a major force in gaelic football.

He has been credited with laying the foundations for the modern day success of Tyrone football, making a huge impact in his three separated stints in the job.
