Dungannon golfers shine on international stage

With rain and snow disrupting the local competition schedule, Dungannon Golf Club is celebrating the remarkable achievements of its members in sunnier, and sometimes stormier, locations abroad.

Louis Gervin, one of Dungannon’s promising Juniors, travelled to the Alto Club in Sotogrande for the US Kids Spanish Open 2025.
Battling extremely tough conditions of rain and wind over the three-day event, Louis displayed resilience and skill to finish third in the Boys’ seven-year-old category.

He placed just behind European Champion Pietro Salvati (Italy) and Spanish hopeful Juan Agudo - a fantastic achievement for the young golfer. Well done, Louis!

Meanwhile, Jack Madden has secured his place on the revived MENA Tour after an outstanding performance at the notoriously challenging Troia Golf Club in Portugal.
