Anne hands over captaincy at Dungannon Golf Club

The Dungannon lady golfers held their first Women’s Annual Meeting in line with the changing profile of the women’s branch as we move towards a unified club.

This was Lady Captain Anne Burns’ final duty before handing over the reins to her Vice Captain Miss Mary Boyle.

In January 2022 Anne promised a fun filled year, and she certainly delivered on all counts. Anne graciously thanked all who had supported her throughout her term of office including her hard working committee members and everyone in the club who works tirelessly to keep our course, bar and restaurant to a high standard.

A special mention was reserved for Past Captain Alison Chestnutt, who can always be relied on to provide sound advice and a well-considered opinion.
