A COOKSTOWN pensioner who suffered the loss of her son in a tsunami in Thailand 14 years ago has died.
Mrs Teresa Keightley, 72, went missing on Monday in the area of the Glenavon House Hotel at around 4pm.
Police conducted a search on Wednesday, when her body was discovered in the same vicinity.
A spokesperson refused to make any comment at the request of the Keightley family.
Mrs Keightley's son, Connor, died when a major tsunami struck Thailand on Boxing Day 2004.
The tsunami claimed over 200,000 lives across 14 different countries.
